Seamer Gus Atkinson Adds to the English team's Fitness Problems.
'Significant concern' for the touring side as Atkinson leaves the field due to a hamstring issue.
Gus Atkinson increased the injury concerns plaguing England after leaving the ground during Saturday's play in the Melbourne Test versus the Australians.
Atkinson experienced discomfort in his hamstring immediately following a delivery of the fourth over during the morning session.
The England team reported the 27-year-old had experienced "tightness" and would spend time off the field for further assessment "over the next few hours".
The concluding match of the series at the SCG gets underway this coming Sunday.
The English side has already lost fast bowlers one seamer with a knee problem and Jofra Archer because of a side injury on the current trip.
Matthew Fisher was added to the party as injury reinforcement.
His form was underwhelming during the first two matches, managing only a handful of scalps.
He was dropped for the Adelaide match, before being recalled for the Melbourne Test in the playing XI.
Atkinson showed better form in Melbourne, bagging two scalps in Australia's first innings, then making 28 with the bat as one of just three English batsmen to get into double digits.
After bowling one over in Australia's second innings, he resumed for the second day's play and dismissed the nightwatchman Scott Boland caught behind.
However, towards the conclusion of his spell, he bowled a slower ball to the batsman and immediately felt for his hamstring.
Atkinson was recalled for the fourth Ashes Test having missed the Adelaide game.
